Named after Fr. Tom Firestone, currently known as the Pope of Flint, he has a passion for helping people understands the value of relationships. By encouraging volunteerism in a very realistic manner, we hope through your experience with us you will expand your views and value relationships in the same way we do!
Normally we would be talking about how we welcome guests to Flint, MI into a converted rectory that comfortably can sleep up to 30 people. Through our 12 years of service immersion programming in Flint, we have learned A LOT! We are excited to be offering these lessons through a virtual experience!
We are finalizing details now! We have the ability to tweak your experience based on your groups interests. Our first 4 day – 8 hour program begins on Monday, January 11. We will be offering this experience until May of 2021.
Our goal as a full-service Social Justice Immersion Center is to provide groups and individuals to develop a sense of kinship with themselves and their community. We hope that by offering this virtual program we will continue to be able to pass along the legacy of Fr. Tom Firestone.
